On June 27th Pennsville Fire & Rescue conducted a training class on confined space rescue. Members of Station 5 rallied at the Pennsville Sewage Department to go over various rescue scenarios of injured or down personnel . These activities included setting up the confined space tri-pod, set up of the fresh air ventilation system, rigging, knots, setup and operation of various rope systems, various anchoring points, and lowering and hoisting of members and victims. We would like to thank the township of Pennsville and it's employees for making this possible and also those who participated and instructed.
