On Februrary 6th, 2012 Chief Zimmerman, Deputy Chief Hagan, Firefighter Cooper, and Firefighter Parkell ventured out to the Salem County Fire Academy to give some instruction on the importance of firefighter physical fitness. The new firefighter one recruit class also underwent a timed fitness exam consisting of pushups, chair dips, wall squats, and planks. These recruits will also be tested again midway and at the end of the firefighter one class to compare thier individual improvements. Goodluck to all the new firefighter recruits!
