On january 22nd, 2012 Pennsville Fire & Rescue provided Rescue coverage service for Carney's Point Fire & Rescue while they were at a training class. While on duty crew members of Station 5 held a rope rescue & bailout review training. Training cosisted of types of ropes, basic life safety knots, anchoring points, anchor system types, hardware and software types, raising and lowering, repelling, and proper bailout techniques.
