On October 6, 2010 at 1735, Station 5 and BLS 5-8 were dispatched to Ft. Mott State Park for a rescue assignment. On arrival, Deputy Chief Hagan established command and found 4 juveniles on top of the old fire control tower for Ft. Mott. This tower was used to control targeting of the guns from the old fort. Quint 5-6 was used to reach the tower and safely remove all of the juveniles. No injuries occurred during the rescue.
