Firefighter Collin R. Smith successfully completed the State of New Jersey Firefighter 1 Certification Program and graduated from the Salem County Fire Academy on Wednesday May 25th.  Additionally Firefighter Smith received the PSE&G Instructors Recruit Award as “The Recruit who displays the highest level of dedication and commitment to the educational requirements as well as their skill set during the Firefighter 1 Class”.  Firefighter Smith will now look to complete his departmental in-service Phase 3 training to obtain his primary firefighter qualification. Firefighter Smith has been a member of our department since February 2015.
